TIRANA, August 26 – Albania and China eye new avenues for the enhancement of bilateral cooperation in the economic and trade fields and Albania’s participation in the 5th International Import Exhibition of China is seen as a new opportunity.
The meeting of Delina Ibrahimaj, Minister of Finance and Economy, and Chinese Ambassador Ding Zhou focused on these issues, according to a post released by Mr. Zhou on FB on Friday.

It was with great pleasure that I met again with Mrs. Delina Ibrahimaj, Minister of Finance and Economy. We have exchanged opinions on strengthening bilateral economic-trade cooperation and preparations for Albanian participation 🇦🇱 in the 5th China International Import Exhibition, etc. China 🇨🇳 insists on expanding openness and promoting mutual benefit, being an important Albanian commercial partner and investor for many years.
Albania’s exports to China have increased by 76% in the first seven months of this year compared to the same period last year.
I look forward to the further release of the potential of cooperation between the two sides in green development, technological innovation, tourism and other areas!
