TIRANA, August 27 – MP of the Freedom Party (FP) Petrit Vasili has reacted regarding the latest decision of the Transparency Board to increase the fuel price in Albania.
“O communist board, enough with stealing, reduce the price of oil like in Montenegro and North Macedonia!” is the call that the deputy made to the body set up by the government to supposedly control price abuses in the oil market.
While making a comparison with countries in the region such as Montenegro or North Macedonia, Vasili highlighted the difference in the price of oil, which is 50 to 60 lek cheaper in those countries than in Albania, the poorest country in Europe.
“Today, the renaissance thieves have increased the price of oil, bringing it to 248 lek per liter! Today in Montenegro, the price is 170 lek per liter. While in North Macedonia the price is 186 lek per liter,” said Vasili in his post released on social networks on Saturday.
He called the board’s members ‘ renaissance thieves’ and asked them to stop stealing shamelessly. Vasili blasted their justification for the non-stop increase of the fuel prices.
“Let alone road shows and idiotic communist propaganda because Montenegro and North Macedonia are the mirror of your unheard stealing,” said Vasili in his comment.
