TIRANA, October 30 – The lawmaker of the Freedom Party (FP), Petrit Vasili has reacted to the new economic model submitted by the leader of the FP, Ilir Meta at the National Convention on Saturday.
In a post on social networks on Sunday, Vasili described the model as an alternative for Albanians and that the current renaissance model should be dismantled. The deputy also added that the new model will bring freedom and transparency.
Albanians have a very clear alternative regarding poverty, the development and freedom of business, the attraction of significant foreign and domestic investments, a fair and non-corrupt fiscal system.
Among the major objectives of the new platform, according to Vasili, are the collapse of the current renaissance model based on corruption, money laundering and trafficking; Albania’s extraordinary resources and opportunities will be utilized to the maximum and will not be robbed; revenues will increase because corruption robs over 2 billion euros just from their corrupt non-collection; maximum freedom and constructiveness towards business will be the guiding motto for economic transformation and finally transparency and verification of the source of every penny of public money poured into billions in Concessions, PPs and endless corrupt tenders with 99% of the price.
“The key word of the new economic model is the rule of law and the absolute transparency of the state administration, which will be transformed into a servant of the citizens and no longer as a predatory pack of corrupt patrongists as it is today only because of Edi Rama,” said Vasili. /Argumentum.al
