TIRANA, October 7 – The chairman of the Democratic Party (DP), Sali Berisha, declared in Gjirokastra, southern Albania, on Friday that there is a consensus to move towards general national protests as soon as possible.
Berisha made these comments after calling on citizens to compete, but also to vote in the primaries of the DP and allies. “Hoping in citizens’ willingness to contribute to this process, I add on the other hand that every day, every week that passes, Rama’s regime becomes more abusive, steals more, deceives more and has completely lost the sense of humanity,” said Berisha.According to him, Albania has never been more insecure than these days, and mention can be made of only the latest destruction of the TIMS and MEMEX system.
“The goal was to eliminate the traces of the government’s connection with traffickers as well as Taulant Balla’s 54 trips with traffickers,” he said.”I will close with these words: if we take the last 110 years, Edi Rama’s government has stolen more than any government in the 110 years taken together. There have never been thefts like what has happened with this government. That’s why I invite Albanians to rise in a protest for our existence and dignity,” said Berisha. /Argumentum.al
