Prime Minister Edi Rama announced on Saturday that two gas stations were seized in Tirana and Vlora with invoices above the price set for everyone.Rama said that the subjects have been fined at the legal maximum value. The PM stressed that “starting from next week, the sequestration of each gas station that raises even one penny the price announced in advance by the Board of Administration will enter into force.
“The National Transparency Board decided three days ago that the retail price of oil for the period 16 to 21 March will be 203 ALL per liter. This board decided that the wholesale price of the diesel by-product will be 199 ALL / liter, and the gasoline by-product will be 193 ALL / liter, the retail price of the gasoline by-product of standard SSH EN 590 will be 203 ALL / liter while the by-product gasoline of standard SSH EN 228 to be 206 ALL / liter. It was also decided that the retail price of the gas by-product will be unchanged, 93 ALL / liter. The Transparency Board announced it will convene again on Monday. Every wholesale and retail operator of petroleum by-products is obliged to implement the decision of the Transparency Board regarding wholesale and retail prices.”In case of violations by various operators, the penalties set out in the Normative Act will be applied.
