TIRANA, October 2 – “I am sure that thanks to the traditionally friendly relations between our two countries, their future will be even better in all areas of mutual interest,” has said President Bajram Begaj in his message of congratulations sent to the Chinese President, Xi Jinping on the occasion of the 73rd anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China.
People’s Republic of China was founded on October 1, 1949 and Albania was one of the first countries to recognize it.
According to Begaj, the relations between Albania and China and the two peoples are at a very good level. “The People’s Republic of China is a friendly country and a very important economic partner for Albania and Albanians,” said Albania’s head of state.
Begaj looked forward to a better future of the relationship in all areas of mutual interest based on the traditionally friendly ties between our two countries. “The major projects initiated by you “17+1” and “One Belt, One Road” have enriched these relations even more and I assure you of my desire and will and that of the Albanian institutions to further these relations in the benefit of our two friendly countries and peoples,” said President Bajram Begaj.

The celebration of the 73rd anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China gives me the opportunity and special pleasure to convey to you and through you, the great Chinese people, the warmest and most heartfelt congratulations on behalf of myself and the Albanian people.
I take advantage of the opportunity of this marked day for your country and people to appreciate with satisfaction the very good level of relations between our two countries and our two peoples. The People’s Republic of China is a friendly country and a very important economic partner for Albania and Albanians.
