Gjiknuri made the comment on the resignation of the chairman of the Democratic Party (DP), Lulzim Basha after the visit and congratulations to all Bektashi believers for the feast of Sultan Novruz on Tuesday during a communication with the media in the city of Elbasan.
“We as SP do not pay attention to what is happening in the DP, but at the same time I have said before that the DP or the Albanian opposition has entered a difficult cycle of disintegration with many flows. For some people, the act of resignation may seem like the beginning of the end of this process, but it may also be the end of the beginning of the disintegration. We will see this and I think it may be more the second,” said Gjiknuri.
He expressed the hope that the opposition will be reformatted for its own good in the future as well as to cooperate for the good of Albania, but they still have problems with themselves. “We are here to communicate with Albanian citizens, to help Albanian citizens to face all these difficulties caused by international events.”
Further Gjiknuri said that the reformatting of DP will take time, it will be very difficult I believe, however time will show. “We are waiting for them in the relevant commissions that they themselves have requested, whenever they are ready.
