Meanwhile, according to her, it is impossible for the DP to accept to power a non grata person, expressing categorically against the return of former Prime Minister Sali Berisha at the helm of the party.
The movement launched by Berisha shook the foundations of Basha making him resign on Monday. Enkelejd Alibeaj, his closest ally, has been designated as temporary DP chairman.
“Everyone has the right to resign. At the meeting I expected discussions could take place. You can not discuss with so many people. It is definitely part of our political culture that failed to democratize. Basha opened the way, but now? ” said Godole, an arch adversary of Berisha who has declared that he will run for the post of DP chairman.
In fact it was Berisha who resigned in 2013 after the loss of DP.
“If Basha’s act is accompanied by a step back from Berisha, the DP would be liberated and the race would open. I am not against a Euro-Atlantic vision. It is impossible for the DP to come to power with Berisha, a person declared non grata,” said Godole. /Argumentum.al
