“The great Albanian coalition has been accomplished”! This is what the Mayor of Tuz, Nik Gjeloshaj, announced on social networks on Tuesday.
Albanian parties in Montenegro have apparently followed the example of political parties in Presevo Valley a month ago where they emerged together in a single coalition in the parliamentary elections in Serbia.
This is in fact the second union for the Albanians of Montenegro, considering that the Municipality of Tuz was won by Albanians thanks to their political union.
The current union, composed of Albanian Alternative, New Democratic Force, Albanian Democratic League, Civic Movement Perspective and Tuz Union, represents the Albanians without distinctions, from the coast of Buna to Dacaj of Rozhaja, said Gjeloshaj in a post on FB on Tuesday.
The union is represented by 15 councilors in the Assembly of Tuz, 9 in the Assembly of Ulcinj, 5 in the Assembly of Gucia, with one councilor each in the Assembly of Plava and Podgorica. A total of 31 out of 41 councilors of national entities or 71% of national political representation. Also part of this coalition are: the Deputy Speaker of the Parliament of Montenegro, the Mayor of Tuz, the speakers of the Municipal Assemblies of Ulcinj and Tuz, the Deputy Mayors of Tuz and Gucia.
“I believe that the time has come for the Albanian electorate to diversify Albanian politics and that our coalition is the best, unique and most comprehensive alternative. In addition without any dilemma it can be considered as a continuation of the union in Malësia. So this coalition gives us hope and optimism that together with the diaspora and all Albanians we will be the absolute winner on August 30,” he said, launching the appeal: ‘Albanian votes only for Albanians, for the best list, for our coalition!’
The Mayor of Tuz said that after the victory great work and responsibility await Albanians so that together they could improve the economic development of Albanian areas in Montenegro.
According to him, when Albanians join forces they always succeeded.
“Tuzi model is the current best example.The victory of August 30 will be convincingly the unstoppable continuation of the victories of Albanians together with the diaspora and Albanianism!”, said the Mayor of Tuz, Nik Gjeloshaj. /argumentum.al
