TIRANA, June 24 – Former US vice president Mike Pence stated in a meeting with the Iranian mujahedeen community in Albania on Thursday that the current administration of Joe Biden is undermining the progress of what the Trump administration has done for the freedom of Iran.
Pence said Biden had worked closely with Russia on Iran’s nuclear program, adding that the new deal would enrich the corrupt regime and torture the Iranian people.
Besides Mujahideen and the leadership of the Iranian dissidents living in Albania there were senior Albanian politicians of all political wings in the meeting held at the camp of Mujahideen.
But the statements of Pence against the current president have been censored by the American embassy in Tirana, said the portal Syri.net on Friday. The Embassy has not echoed at all the meeting of the former number two of the American state, even though the strangest announcements are posted on its website. Instead, today there are two posts that are not related to the important visit to Albania. One of the posts is a stance of a US embassy official in Tirana on justice reform. Judging by over 95 percent of the comments, it is clear how frustrated the Albanians are with this failed reform.
“But this is not the point. The scandal is over Pence’s visit to Albania and its censorship by the American representation in Tirana. Not a word can be found about this visit
on its official website, nor on social networks,” said the comment.
