TIRANA, December 11 – The Chairman of the Freedom Party (FP), Ilir Meta has reacted after the acts of violence in the north of Kosovo by the Serbian minority.
Meta called in a post on social networks on Sunday quoted by local media for the situation to be normalized and the path of dialogue opened in this difficult situation.
“I condemn with the greatest severity the unacceptable acts of violence and armed attacks against the Kosovo Police and international personnel in the North of the Republic of Kosovo and call on the justice institutions to bring their perpetrators to justice as soon as possible,” said Meta, a former president of Albania.
Meta launched a strong appeal for the necessity of avoiding any provocation and in particular the escalation of any form of tension that undermines security in Kosovo and that endangers peace and stability in the region. /Argumentum.al
