TIRANA, November 18 – Azerbaijan will soon open its Embassy in Albania, the Azeri media reported immediately after the approval of this decision in the Azeri Parliament on Friday.
The draft laws on “Establishment of the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Albania” and “Establishment of the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Kenya” have been approved with a reading after discussions, it is stated in the announcement of the Assembly.
This decision was taken only three days after the first official visit of the President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev to Albania.
“The opening of the embassy of Azerbaijan in Albania is a good manifestation of the cooperation between our countries,” said the President of Albania, Bajram Begaj at the press conference with the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev on his first visit to this Balkan country on November 15.
This proves once again the intensification of diplomatic relations but also the further perspective in the economic field between the two countries, especially in the energy sector. /Argumentum.al
