TIRANA, March 8 – The chairman of the Reestablishment group in the Democratic Party (DP), Sali Berisha held a meeting with the democrats of Mallakastra, southern Albania, on Wednesday where he declared open the electoral campaign of the 14 May local power election.
In his speech, Berisha spoke about the serious mistakes made by the Democratic Party during its governance, but it was to its credit that it did not ignore the mistakes, recognized them, announced them publicly and corrected them with great courage.
Further Berisha said that the DP in the opposition these years was walking like a sleepy man, a somnambulist, but it was saved by the democrats in all of Albania.
In the meantime, Berisha also reacted to the American ambassador in Tirana, Yuri Kim, who had meetings with the leaders of Socialist Party and Freedom Party as well as with and the head of DP faction, Enkelejd Alibeaj.
Berisha said that Kim has no right and moral to talk about the elections, after she went and congratulated PM Edi Rama on the most stolen elections in history.
“Those who tried to betray you, stab you, they have ended and will end up in the trash can of society. Here is McGonigal, a traitor to his country who worked to destroy the opposition paid by Edi Rama. Here is Lulzim Brava (Basha), who was taken hostage by Edi Rama through court proceedings and then said that the American ambassador is ordering him in a terrible way. Now I say, madam, there you have it, a political rot, take it. She lashed out with the same ferocity as McGonigal against the DP, against you, against the Democrats, McGonigal in a dress called Yuri Kim,” said Berisha.
Further Berisha said Kim has no moral, no right to talk about the elections in Albania because she was the first to go and congratulate Edi Rama on the orders of McGonigal for the most stolen, most ruined, most looted elections in the history of country. “Don’t think that you can sell morality, immorality to Albanians. Albanians have many problems, but one thing they are described by foreigners that they are intelligent,” said Berisha.
Berisha has been declared personave non grata by the US State Department and the US Embassy has suspended any contacts with him. /Argumentum.al
