TIRANA, December 15 – The chairman of the Democratic Party (DP), Sali Berisha laid the stress on the wound of the depopulation of Albania in the meeting with the winners of the primaries for the local power elections on Thursday.
He said that the municipalities that will be won by DP will have youth at the epicenter.
“Each of you has such dark stories about the renaissance governors, who are the seed of thieves that the earth has never seen. You go with the faith and program of a conservative force, which believes in low taxes. This political force believes that it is better for the money to be in the pockets of the citizens than the administration,” said Berisha.
According to him, citizens expect their taxes to be felt at every end of the municipality’s territory.
“You see what is the severe wound of Albania today – the mass exodus of youth. This is the truth. We are left with absolutely fictitious futures. If your youth is gone your future is gone in all aspects,” said DP head.
Further he said that the candidates should focus on young people, interests, education, potential, and the unfolding of their potential. “So, the Albanians expect from you and the DP that you transform the municipalities into youth municipalities,” said Berisha. /Argumentum.al
