TIRANA, June 9 – There were strong debates in the Parliament on Thursday afternoon. Socialist Party (SP) deputy Taulant Balla has demanded the removal of Democratic Party (DP) deputy Edmond Spahos from the parliamentary session after the harsh statements of the latter.
Spaho stated that the price increase by the government could be solved only through protests as PM Edi Rama is robbing the citizens. Spaho called government officials bastards while calling on Albanians to rise up against injustice.
“This has a solution, only protests. If we continue here nothing will change. If prices in other countries fall after six months, this will not happen in Albania. We must rise up in protest and overthrow the (socialists). They only understand this language. There is no other language that these bastards understand,” said Spaho.
In the meantime, the Parliament’s majority has expelled from Thursday’s plenary session the Democratic MP, Edmond Spaho, after his speech during which he called bastards the socialist deputies.
It was the head of the SP Parliamentary Group, Taulant Balla, who demanded that Spaho be expelled from the session, or that he apologizes for the word used. /Argumentum.al
