TIRANA, December 26 – The end of the year holidays has brought an increase in the number of Albanians who entered the country from all border points. A total of 5055 people entered in Kapshtica check point and 1463 others went abroad on Sunday to celebrate Christmas.
During the last 24 hours, about 7,000 people have entered Kakavija, while 3,400 citizens have left Albanian territory. Queues were marked only on Sunday evening as the Greek side worked with one counter, while the situation was normalized on Monday morning and both police officers work with three counters each.
Like every end of the year, a large number of Albanians who work abroad, decide to return to their homeland to celebrate the holidays with their families./ Argumentum.al
