TIRANA, June 25 – Democratic Party (DP) Chairman Sali Berisha called the language of Prime Minister Edi Rama unworthy and ordinary at the Summit of Leaders in Brussels.
Through a statement on Saturday, Berisha said that the response of the government head to the Bulgarian Foreign Ministry shows that Rama intends to isolate Albania in Putin’s Balkans and not to open it to the EU.
“Rama’s unacceptable political language is unprecedented and irresponsible. He is like no other prime minister in Europe at the EU Summit. The direct attack on Bulgaria proves a number of fundamental problems for his image and governance,” Said Berisha, a former PM.
According to Berisha, Rama and his government are responsible for the next “No!” by the EU as it results he heads the most corrupt government in Europe.
“Albania again did not get the green light for membership in the Union and there are certainly culprits for this. He tries to cover this up by drawing attention to other things,” he said.
The DP head said Rama’s hypocrisy goes so far as to speak in the “interest” of Kosovo, while fraternizing with Vucic for their “Open Balkans” project, which is the idea of returning the former Yugoslavia through him.
“Rama is the most ignorant politician, the most failed one in the history of the Albanian transition, in the field of diplomacy and foreign relations,” said Berisha.
