TIRANA, August 29 – After hackers hit and paralyzed all the online services of the Albanian state by publishing a good part of the data obtained from the e-Albania system and deleting some of the virtual servers, they have published other documents. This time it is about the telephone numbers of hundreds of Albanians and the number of their identity cards.
As they had previously warned, the hacker group called “Homeland Justice”, has also released the phone numbers of Albanian citizens after publishing the e-mails of Prime Minister Edi Rama, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of the Interior and the Ministry of Defense,
“The game is ready to start. Now people will realize that their corrupt politicians have done nothing for their security,” is the message accompanying the files released by the hackers on Monday.
Hundreds of telephone numbers of Albanian citizens, accompanied by name, surname and personal number of the identity card are published on their website.
So far there is no confirmation by relevant government authorities on the incident but it is striking that it happens as Albanian top police Gledis Nano has resigned.
