TIRANA – Kosovo-Albania border crossings will open officially on Monday after both countries decided to ease coronavirus restrictions, Kosovo media quoted government officials as saying.
“Starting from Monday, citizens who enter Kosovo will not be subject to self-isolation and instead of testing for those who enter, there will be a detailed medical examination,” said Minister of Health Armend Zemaj in a government meeting on Sunday. “Let me inform you that as of Monday, the restriction of movement will be lifted. We demand that the recommendations be strictly implemented.”
The Kosovo-Albania border was closed due to the spread of the COVID-19 virus on March 14 this year as it happened with all regional countries. /argumentum.al
