TIRANA, December 14 – The chairman of the Democratic Party (DP), Sali Berisha, spoke, among other things, about the attack on him in the December 6 protest during his speech at the meeting of the chairmanship of the Democratic Party held on Wednesday.
Berisha said that the attack was organized by Prime Minister Edi Rama, while adding that it is a well-calculated act to hit the Democratic Party.
“At a moment when the noise could be less, according to him, it could give a fatal blow to the Albanian opposition. Those who think that Rama was the most disinterested in such an act are unfortunate and deceived by him,” said Berisha.
According to Berisha, the attack was not an assassination attempt on Berisha, but a diabolical calculation to hit the Albanian opposition, the revenge of Rama’s father against the opposition that dared to call the protest on the day of the EU-Western Balkan countries Summit on December 6.
Further DP head said anyone who has followed the incident finds a feverish attempt to free the criminal from the burden of the crime, to present him as mentally ill on the basis of a document with no legal value.
“I have forgiven Gerti Shehu, but DP never forgives him. Rama will destroy DP,” said Berisha. /Argumentum.al
