He underlined that through the demolition of the Theatre it was aimed at causing instability in the country hinting that PM Edi Rama supported these lobbies.
“The Albanian National Theatre was demolished in order to provoke the opposition and create instability in the country. The Serb lobby and the pro Russian one in Washington are interested in civil confrontation and destabilization in Albania,” he said.
“I have evidence and documents and I will speak in the future at the right time,” said Meta.
During the TV Show he also denounced the influence that Rama had on the Justice Reform. As evidence Meta made public an SMS of a diplomat in Tirana where he speaks of the stance of EU and US diplomats on some candidates for the Constitutional Court and their support for the Premier. The message shown during Meta’s interview reads as following:
“Good Morning. I saw my US, EU colleagues this morning and we then called on Rama. EU and US legal advice does not support the President’ position on the suspension. They believe that Arta Vorpsi has now been appointed by virtue of the unblocking mechanism. They will go public with this today and we agreed that I would give advance notice of this. Rama did however agree that Marsida Xhaferllari should be on the President’s list for the next appointment which should arise very soon. Rama will not try to block this. Again I was asked to pass this message to you.”
In his comment on the above messages President said these show how some internationals work in Tirana on judicial reform and, according to him, this is a shame and an anti-constitutional stance./argumentum.al
