TIRANA, December 22 – Prime Minister Edi Rama welcomed on Thursday to Dropull the Prime Minister of Greece, Kyriakos Mitsotakis, who paid a visit to this municipality at the invitation of Rama.
Prime Minister Rama and his Greek counterpart Mitsotakis were welcomed on Thursday by the Greek minority community of this area for whom Rama expressed that it is the irreplaceable bridge connecting our two countries.
“With great gratitude I greet all those citizens like you of the Republic of Albania with Greek nationality who have given not only to this community, but have given a lot to the country,” said Rama.
Prime Minister Rama announced that the main square of Dropull will be named after Konstantinos Mitsotakis, the father of the Greek Prime Minister, Kyriakos Mitsotakis.
“We have prepared the urban renaissance project of the entire main square, which will bear the name of the Prime Minister’s father and in his honor the bust of the Prime Minister will also be placed,” said Rama.
