TIRANA – A group of 7 Italian experts have arrived at the “Mother Teresa” airport in Tirana in the midst of a frightening spread of coronavirus with some experts comparing the situation to the deadly epidemic in northern Italy a few months ago.
The medical experts, as is reported upon their arrival on Thursday, will assist in the fight against coronavirus in Albania.
This assistance is a return of the “honor” that this country did a while ago when Italy was in trouble.
A group of Albanian doctors and nurses left for Italy, at a time when the neighboring country recorded over 800 deaths a day from the virus that has brought the world to its knees.
The Italian experts will stay in Albania for 14 days. A doctor of Albanian origin, who left Albania at the age of 10, is among the medical Italian team. /argumentum.al
