TIRANA, October 24 – The President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, has said in her speech to the UN Security Council that on September 24 Kosovo was a victim of aggression from Serbia.
Osmani said on Tuesday that the terrorist attack in Banjska was a pure act of aggression by Serbia towards Kosovo.
“It’s just the truth. Kosovo was a victim of the act of aggression by Serbia. Serbia is terrorizing the Serbs living in Kosovo to prevent their integration. Serbia wants the territory of Kosovo, which it will never take. Kosovo is a constructive party in the dialogue, and the list of non-implementation of Serbia’s agreements is very long. We want full and quick implementation of all the accords agreed in Brussels in February, and that in a fair and balanced way,” said Osmani.
President Osmani said that Kosovo claims responsibility for the attack, but Serbia continues to deny it.
“Serbia showed on September 24 that it wants war, but we will not offer it. Democracy and freedom always go hand in hand. There is nothing that can stand in front of a country that loves freedom. The people of Kosovo will never give up their freedom,” Kosovo’s Head of State said. She also said that the terrorist attack on September 24 in Banjska was not only an attack on Kosovo, but was a plan to destabilize the Western Balkans. /argumentum.al
