PM’s Mother Aneta Rama Passes Away

TIRANA – “You were the light and the cornerstone of the house where we grew up and became men and where we always remained children,” has said Prime Minister Edi Rama announcing the passing away of his mother in a message posted in social media outlets on Saturday.
Rama’s mother, Aneta Rama, passed away at the age of 82 in Saturday’s early hours after a long serious disease.
“We will miss you a lot, but nothing more could you do for us than the impossible that you did with full of dedication all your life. So rest in peace, mom!” Rama wrote in his touching message.
In the meantime Edi Rama and his brother addressed a message to all relatives and friends asking for their understanding for the impossibility of waiting them for condolences and the funeral ceremony of their mother due to the COVID19 pandemic in Albania.
Local media carried messages of condolences to PM Rama upon the loss of his mother among which is that of President Ilir Meta.
