The Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK) issued a press statement confirming meeting of their leader Isa Mustafa and his close associates with the US Ambassador to Kosovo, Philip Kosnett, Gazeta Express reports.
The LDK said that their chairman Isa Mustafa, accompanied by vice-chairmen Agim Veliu, Lutfi Haziri and Vjosa Osmani, met with US Ambassador to Kosovo Philip Kosnett. According to the press release Mustafa briefed Ambassador Kosnett on the course of talks with Vetevendosje on reaching a ruling coalition agreement. “Ambassador Kosnett called on political leaders to form a new government that will fulfil the mandate of voters as soon as possible,” the LDK said in a press statement. The LDK and Vetevendosje are negotiating for more than three months now to create a coalition and form new Government but have failed to reach a deal on sharing powers. /GazetaExpress/
