TIRANA, November 15 – Prime Minister Edi Rama declared on Tuesday that the protest organized by the opposition on November 12 is a ‘soup’ that we have seen for 30 years, cooked by the same chef, “non grata” (DP chairman Sali Berisha).
In a joint press conference with the Minister of Finance and Economy, Delina Ibrahimaj on investments in government bonds, the Prime Minister responded to the interest of journalists on the protest organized by the opposition on November 12.
“Which citizen are you talking about? It was a party protest, a “non grata” and a spy who gathered their militants. They can do it whenever they want. This has nothing to do with the people, with the concerned citizens,” said Rama.
The Prime Minister said that this is a protest of parties for power.
“The only result was that they threw some paint here that the workers had to work at night to wash it off, because that’s how this work is divided- they do the dirty, we clean. I don’t even know how many there were, I haven’t seen them, and I don’t care at all. They can do it every day if they want. I feel sorry for those who, despite being militants, forget that they are going after some people who are paid by foreigners to do harm in this country, and this is a fact,” said Rama.
According to him, “for the Russians to pay you, you must have given proof, they cannot pay for nothing.”
“The Russians cannot waste half a million dollars to finance a political party. Why should they give that money to DP? Why not give it to another party, although DP is not the only party that has ties to the Russians. My words always come out, because I don’t make predictions when I speak, I know very well what I say,” said Rama. /Argumentum.al
