TIRANA, June 8 – Albania, North Macedonia and Serbia signed several agreements in the field of tourism and culture during the “Open Balkans” summit in Ohrid, North Macedonia on Wednesday.
After the signing of these agreements, the President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic praised Albania’s Prime Minister, Edi Rama, whom he considered a strong leader and that without his commitment the “Open Balkans” would not exist.
“I am always dissatisfied with myself and the results I achieve. Today in Ohrid I want to tell the hosts that we do not ask anything from Serbia or Macedonia, we do not need anything, we just want to have brotherly relations,” he said.
Further on Vucic declared: “Many thanks to Mr. Rama who has been consistent even when we were under pressure from different sides. Edi Rama has shown great power of the leader, he has proved what determination and consistency mean. And as the President of Serbia, I owe a great deal of gratitude to him that without his commitment the Open Balkans could not have survived.” /Argumentum.al
